Assignment #9: If I had $100

For this assignment I chose my ethical gifts from 2 different organizations The Salvation Army and Plan Canada. The gift I chose from The Salvation Army was a mosquito net which costs $12 and it is to protect children and families from malaria. Malaria is a disease that mosquitos carry and those nets help provent that. The gifts I got from Plan Canada were water purification tablets, a mango tree, 3 baby chicks, and a blanket to wrap a newborn baby. The water purification tablets are for purifying water to stop people from getting sick from the diseases in the water it costs $50. The mango tree is to provide food, shade, and more mango trees it costs $12. Three baby chicks provide company, income and food they cost $15 all together. The last ethical gift I have gotten was a blanket for a newborn baby and that will provide warmth, saftey, it will keep them clean. Those are the items I would get for the families in need that are in poor countries.
